I wrote this short story for Rebecca1994's Phobia contest. I chose 'Fear of being closed in' as my theme. I hope you enjoy reading it~

I was once trapped inside a room. We all have been at some stage, whether literally or metaphorically. Trapped and then set free. That is what this poem is all about. Entrapment and freedom.
A story of a man who struggled with loss and the crippling guilt and regret of not having been the man he needed to be.
Basically the way I felt when I was visiting my boyfriend at his school for the first time. The people were just so cocky and fake! The sensation of the overall feeling of the people coupled with claustrophobia was overbearing so I sat down and wrote about it to calm myself down. Hope you enjoy!

They destroyed it. You destroyed it. All the pollution, emitted gasses and trash destroyed Earth. The atmosphere disappeared and the UV radiation waves burned everything alive. The lucky one were either indoors or asleep. Oxygen disappeared and they suffocated. Millions of bodies...
Awakened, gasping for air,
eyes widen in horror.
