Four high school students from different backgrounds share an experience which is both sublime and profound.
It's a commentary on the love life of a naive young woman who befriends a new group of people at uni. Told from the point of view of the cynical best friend who seems to live through her friends' lives instead of living her own. Hopefully not too much romance stuff, more a coming of age...
I wrote this a few years ago. I always think of the book 'Dear Nobody' when I read it - a pregnant teenage girl coming to terms with her situation. This poem stops after blaming the world for her problems and before coming to terms with the situation.
