Ok, so this isn't really poetry: it's the lyrics to a song I made up. I plan to put it to music soon... But I'd like some feedback on my song lyric abilities :)

A liitle girl named Annie did a good deed. Now her mother is rewarding her with a new doll, but she didn't listen to what the salesman had to say about it.
