A girl spends her days in her room looking through the window. She has not seen her parents in what seems to be days to her. She is longing for freedom and those familiar faces that she now understands, she might never see again.
This is a poem I wrote a couple of years ago one late night when I was very upset at how often women are taken advantage of. Not only was I upset with the men who do this but also to the women who allow it to happen. There is a rhyme scheme between every two lines to form a four line stanza....
