At my writing group we looked at sonnet's so I thought I'd give it a go. Sonnet's have a rhyme pattern like this: ABAB CDCD EFEF GG. They also have 10 syllables per line and a 'volta' in the 3rd or 4th verse which is a dramatic turnaround or statement. I hope you like it!

Basically, I went to take to photographs of like trees and stuff, and when I got back..I really wanted to write something about how beautiful it is. I can't beleive they don't have this in the genre...?:)
