It's almost 4 AM in the morning but today I decided to stay up with one of my best buddies, Shaun Curtis (Check him out, he just started Booksie. A talented novice poet with an eloquent sense of poetry) to help me make a poem to cheer our friend up who had it rough last night.

This is just a something I started. It will eventually be a book but I'm already working on a couple of those so for now it's a small short story or flash fiction... What ever you wanna call it.
Sometimes words aren't enough to ease the pain or sadness that one's suffering. Sometimes, simply being there - in silence - is already a comfort for them. Your presence says you're there to lend a hand.

One of the few stories Iâ€™ll bring over from my own private blog. Iâ€™m sure it fits more than just one life.
I donâ€™t think much needs to be said for this.
The only context missing is the girl I love is my best friend.
Whatâ€™s Death? Weâ€™ll never know. But as my chest pains increase and more careless drivers almost hit my bike, I continue to wonder.
But I know now, that death brings anything but happiness. We must appreciate everyone and everything around us. Find our place, and dwell comfortably...
