A Hero who came back from war tells his son about when he was at war and rescued many slaves, but his best friend did not come back and didn't make it because he fought the enemy off and let his friend and the slaves escape. His son wanted to join the war but his father explains to him not to go.
This is about the wait time between getting your heart broken or what could be the beginning of love. Being ready for anything. Basically being in limbo with love.
