A poem that I'm putting in the next chapter of my novel

A man attempts to cheat on his wife.
"I've made my decision." I breathed my words, the sound barely a whisper.
He raised a brow at me, "and?"
"I'll do it." a tear slipped down my cheek, but I wiped it away, not wanting to show any sign of weakness, "I'll go with you."
I thought, for a moment, I saw a victory smile on his face; but...
