When your best friend is accused of a horrific double murder, you help them run away. After all, if they're caught their fate is sealed, and they're innocent. Aren't they?
Symbolic of the past catching up to you
The crow is fearless, determined and vengeful. It guides the damned from their eternal prison back to the world of the living, extracting revenge on the ones who murdered them. They cannot rest until their vengeance is complete. There can be only one outcome - the guilty pay and the innocent parish.
