As of the time this was written, I haven't spoken with my former best friend of 11 years (keep in mind, I'm young so that's 70% of my life) in over 3 months. I'm still struggling to cope with this situation, and this poem reflects my thoughts I have regarding it.
She thought she had it all. A boyfriend she thought loved her. A best friend she thought would always be by her side. Friends she thought she could trust.
But within a blink of an eye, it was all gone.
Can one man bring her back, or eill she be lost forever?
This is the first of a series (I hope) written from a unique perspective. It's about the power of a single word.
