A witness realtes his encounter with an other-world beast.
Mike Jacobs is just an ordinary kid...until he wakes up one morning to find that himself hovering between life and death. Once he cuts a deal with the mysterious stranger, he finds himself a year in the future- where everything has changed dramatically. Everything has been Twisted.
The crew of the naval warship Gunther have stumbled across the seemingly empty hull of a freighter that's floating adrift through space. Deciding to investigate they begin to realize that the ship isn't so empty and that leaving may not be as simple as planned.
It's nearly two in the morning.

This poem was one of the two not of a particularly formatted style type that I got to do for my poetry book in creative writing. One of my free poems, so to speak. It has a bit of a dark beginning, but a good catharsis-inducing twist at the end.
