I found an old poem book of mine, it has a whole bunch of poems that I wrote and forgot about, the next couple uploads are from the book. I find it funny though cause I was a better poet back then. I guess writing for a cause has always produced better writing.
When you feel like all odds are against you, you're fighting for some kind of control, and everything that you held your faith in falls, you break, and change. Because that's what pain does to people.
Set in a futuristic world, Working Nights focuses on the last thoughts of a revolutionary as she fights against the sexist and misogynistic culture that rules her world. Loosely based on a verse from 'The Vicious Cabaret' from V For Vendetta.
