This is the beginning of the first chapter of a book which occurred in a dream of mine. Iaera is not a human, yet she was thrown into the human world that she isn't familiar with. After all she's a mermaid. What she finds may be the cause of the biggest decision she will ever make in her life....
I saw a painting of a woman that made me wonder what she was thinking while the painter captured her on canvas. Her back was to me, so I couldn't see her face or any emotions.
