An actual poem I wrote to a prisoner.
The nature of everything...
Self is everywhere, shining forth from all beings,
Vaster than vast, subtler than most subtle,
Unreachable, yet nearer than breath, than heartbeat.
Eye cannot see it, ear cannot hear it nor tounge
Utter it; only in deep absorption can the mind,
Grown pure and silent,...
I feel that this is a perfect metaphor for life, thoughts?

warning: this contains a bit of a gothic feel...I've been listening to progressive metal lately, and fantasizing a lot, in order to escape from reality's dungeon(plus I recently saw the Dark Knight...which is why this is a bit psychotic)....
