Hazel Lance has always dreamed to see the ocean. But in a world where the color of eyes determine what special abilities and tribes they are in, and a never-ending war on the loose, it is nearly impossible. In an unexpected meeting with a shadow bender, he promises her he will fulfill her wish...
After watching the love her of life being murdered right in front of her eyes, things start to go downhill very fast. She even attempts suicide, but things don't plan out as she hoped they would.
Note; I rated this PG because of the vivid description of the murder in the beginning.
I had wanted this to work out. I was so very certain it would this time. However, nothing really went as planned. This is a poem about my dream, the dream that blew up.
I don;t want to tell you who Elizabeth is but I think some of you can imagine. Enjoy!
