The Energy Within !
I spread the dreams under your feet. Step Softly. As you are treading on my dreams.
Don't hurry in the city
Wherever you walk
And I will hear your step
In sound of the rain.
We all know the destructive power of fire. This poem refreshes the topic with a small story of a soldier, who surrendered to fire. This poem also revokes the destruction caused by mankind.
I was dating someone when I wrote this but I don't think my relationship inspired this poem. Perhaps it was inspired by the first person with which I was intimate.
I was thinking about the Civil War and how the Emancipation Proclamation rhymed when I wrote this poem.

After watching the love her of life being murdered right in front of her eyes, things start to go downhill very fast. She even attempts suicide, but things don't plan out as she hoped they would.
Note; I rated this PG because of the vivid description of the murder in the beginning.
