I love the sweeet sadness of autumn. I always feel a sense of loss. This piece was written after reading Ray Bradbuy's novel, 'The Halloween Tree'. The allusion to 'The October Witch' is a direct nod to Bradbury.
This is a piece which utilizes my love of movies and iconic Hollywood imagery as metaphors. The speaker is expressing his love through these metaphors. This piece was written during a stream of conscious moment.
