Let us go higher.. higher than an angel in the sky..
I am a recovering addict and this is a piece that I wrote during my VERY early recovery. This kind of lets a portion of my mind be seen. It is what I was feeling intensly in the moment and was written in a 15 minute window or so... Let me know what you all think...

Hey everyone! This is based on a story someone told me about someone getting high and then going on a drive, and I decided to write a poem about it. The person in question passed away after hitting a tree while he was still high.

â€œThat is true, as you can see state of my body from eating bad food.â€

So, I was talking to the guy I'm currently interested in the other day and he made a comment that struck me. He said 'it's all smoke and mirrors, you know'. This inspired this particular poem as well as a song. It's not very good, but please enjoy anyways.
