We all need someone special, but later on you are left with no one else but yourself. Be prepared, be strong, don't look back.
This poem gives the audience a glimpse into the emotional aspect of "playing a girl" and messing with her heart. I use some apropos similes to express just how painful and emotionally fatal it is to the girl being tricked.
