Just a passing thought...
As of the time this was written, I haven't spoken with my former best friend of 11 years (keep in mind, I'm young so that's 70% of my life) in over 3 months. I'm still struggling to cope with this situation, and this poem reflects my thoughts I have regarding it.

So I'm taking a creative writing class in school and this is one of the poems I wrote for an assignment (it was required to be an anaphora poem, so the repetition was, of course, necessary). Although a lot of school writing is generally fake or bs'd, I actually liked this one.
