I wrote this sestina poem for my writer craft class and I just want some feedback if anybody thinks its good. Interpret it however you feel like but I while I wrote this poem I was thinking about a women who loved her husband but eventually that love turned into hate as he began to abuse her....
"You can't have me."
My Sun had gone - her golden, live-giving light leaving me to the cruel, torturous, black darkness.
And it seemed no amount of love could bring her back, not even if I gladly moved heaven and earth for her.
Two songs that were the soundtrack for this short story:
All around the world burning children are showing the glowing, radiant, brilliant true colours and are going to let their souls burn.
Is it the start of a revolution? Are they saviors? Are they good? Or do they work for a service of evil?
All we know, is their name.

I love Illinois. I love all it's seasons, but I love the summer most of all. The smells of cut grass, the screams of joy coming from the children playing in the sprinklers always bring back the most wonderful memories of my childhood in Texas.
