By Scribblings Of A Middle Aged Mad Man
Written while hung over, at Glastonbury in 2002. It was a rare sun filled morning and I was sat at the opening of the tent constructing this poem. I soon realised it was time to get my pen.

The absence thereof,
I stand accused.
Devoid of any,
Unrevealed in the prism.
I am the chill that fills your vision when you see the painted snow.
I am the heat that radiates the furnace and gives hot steel...

Etched in hues of gold and black
it's now time to sit back and relax
A caterpillar discharged
from her cocoon,
becomes a butterfly
A reflection of
mist before the sun
Love and only love can resue our hearts.

Emotions run like a scared animal,
within my mind.
He sowed the seeds,
and tended them well.
Wishing i was here

A new day has dawned,
and the sun's on its rise.
The stars fade elegantly,
while the night ebbs away.
Pastel skies at night
they say are a blessing
Refreshing waves wash
gently upon the shore
