jesus goes on a small adventure and has fun
The twins were walking free
through the lonelinest of all streets
where the sun couldn't dare to touch
their pale, porcelain skin
This work was based upon an interview and my own knowledge of tornados. It's late so I figured, eh why not write it. I've been through three myself that I remember and helped with the clean up for the Joplin tornado over two years ago. This town has come a long way.

I wrote this sestina poem for my writer craft class and I just want some feedback if anybody thinks its good. Interpret it however you feel like but I while I wrote this poem I was thinking about a women who loved her husband but eventually that love turned into hate as he began to abuse her....
"You can't have me."
My Sun had gone - her golden, live-giving light leaving me to the cruel, torturous, black darkness.
And it seemed no amount of love could bring her back, not even if I gladly moved heaven and earth for her.

All around the world burning children are showing the glowing, radiant, brilliant true colours and are going to let their souls burn.
Is it the start of a revolution? Are they saviors? Are they good? Or do they work for a service of evil?
All we know, is their name.
The Children of The Sun.
I love Illinois. I love all it's seasons, but I love the summer most of all. The smells of cut grass, the screams of joy coming from the children playing in the sprinklers always bring back the most wonderful memories of my childhood in Texas.
Two states, so different from each other and yet...
A short poem I wrote for a special someone.
When the moon looks down on the earth...
