We all know Death as a scary and evil being with no mercy. In my mind he is nothing like that. This is the story when Death shows mercy.
A murderer lives in exile, outside of the city. He is rejected and nobody likes him. And his time has come. Death arrives and is going to take him away, but...

My Sun had gone - her golden, live-giving light leaving me to the cruel, torturous, black darkness.
And it seemed no amount of love could bring her back, not even if I gladly moved heaven and earth for her.
