Poem from a fragile time in my life
Where to start...? Firstly, I'm not as much of a writer as I want to be. I don't wander around with a notebook, and I don't put words down nearly often enough. But sometimes, at odd moments (and far too infrequently), the idea for a poem or story germinates in my head. I rarely allow the words to reach paper though, because I can't imagine anyone would be interested in reading them.
I am fiercely private about my writings. In fact, none of my friends or family have seen anything I've written, and they certainly don't know I'm on Booksie. I guess the act of writing something down makes me feel exposed and vulnerable, and for some reason it's easier to handle beneath a veil of anonymity. I hope that you enjoy what few works I post on here as much as I enjoy reading yours.
