If you enjoy my work, I encourage you tell others about me in whatever way you wish! Also, if you want to be updated on a story, please become a fan! It makes updating so much easier on me.

"When everyone else is running around screaming their heads off, be the one to shoot the zombies."

The Kid

Twenty-four and counting. I love music, movies/TV, reading, and writing (obviously). I get excited when I hear thunder, and I get relaxed when I hear the rain against my window.  I like playing The Sims 3 when I'm not writing or, quite plainly, procrastinating. Warm weather does not suit me; the cold is what I love. I can be pretty lazy and procrastinative, so it may take me a long time to update, but I'm trying to fix that. I am a high school drop-out, formerly of the class of 2009 (although I still consider myself part of that class). Please don't judge my writing based on that little tid-bit of information. Despite its irrelevance, I don't mind saying that I am single and have been for a long time. I'm the youngest of four boys, and I have no sisters. Oh, and feel free to call me Tyler.

"If I didn't enjoy it so much, I'd ask you to stay out of my dreams."

"Why do the good dreams end before the kiss?"

The Musician

Drums, tuba/sousaphone, and vocals are my specialties, although I drum more than the other two these days. Whenever I write, I have to listen to music. Part of it is because it helps inspire me, but also because I need some kind of sound while I work. I have a wide range of musical taste, varying from Tegan and Sara to Hollywood Undead, Beethoven to Bullet for My Valentine. I've had the privelage to see a good amount of my favorite bands live, such as Slipknot, Coheed & Cambria, and Skillet. I even met the members of Skillet once; I got my picture taken with them, sans Lori Peters (this was before she left). If I had to choose my top five favorite bands, they would be the following, in no particular order: Blue October, My Chemical Romance, Skillet, Slipknot, and Demon Hunter.

"In order to destroy the world, one must save it first."

"After several minutes of hard thinking, I've conceded that I have nothing clever or poetic to say."

The Reader

As a child, I grew up reading Poe's works and watching Stephen King movies. Naturally, as I got older, I tended to like things on the darker side. For a long time, though, I didn't read very much other than Poe, installments of the Great Illustrated Classics series, and comic books. But when I picked up the hobby more seriously, I ventured into the Series of Unfortunate Events books and, of course, Harry Potter. I am admittedly a fan of the Twilight novels, but I am not a Twihard. (Again, please do not judge my writing based on that little tid-bit of information.) In the last year or so, I've found that I read a lot of vampire novels, such as the Southern Vampire novels and Let the Right One In. I also enjoy non-vampire works, like Fat Kid Rules the World by KL Going, and Heavy Metal & You and Venomous by Christopher Krovatin.

"Remember me or forget me. Either way, get out while you still can."

"Oh my God! The apocalypse has begun! The ashes of our burning loved ones are raining down upon... No, wait. That's just snow. Never mind."

The Writer

I love writing. I've been doing it since I was four or five. I have too many ideas for stories, but I'm going to do my best to get to them when I can. Despite what you may read and all the positive feedback I've received, I'm very self-conscious about my writing. Honestly, I think all the praise everyone gives me is outrageous, like they're only saying it's great so they don't hurt my feelings. Nevertheless, whenever someone says they were hooked so quickly, a huge grin spreads across my face. This is what I mainly want to do for a living, so to see that tons of people actually dig my stories is just plain incredible, especially when I think there's so much more I could do with my time. I love you all to death, I really do. I'm not writing just for the self-conscious high school drop-out anymore; I'm writing for the multitude here on Booksie who come to this page to read something they think is fantastic.

"Procrastination is a writer's best friend. Well, that and Jack Daniels."

"It appears that God has decided to share his cocaine with us."

(By the way, all those cool quotes were by me. Use them if you wish, but please cite me as the one who said it.)

This is the cover for "The Blade and the Bullet." It was made by WhisperMyFairytale, and I absolutely love it! Here's my cast list for it. Below is a trailer I made for "The Blade and the Bullet" using The Sims 3.
