Cheryl sighed as she had just acknowledged that she left her textbook in her locker. The young youthful soul proclaimed to her peers that she may take up to twenty minutes going back to her school and pursuing her textbook, so therefore they may carry on with their journey. She huffed and puffed as she approached the modernised, classy and alpine building. She hastened towards the main door. She pushed it quite harshly but realised everyone had vanished. The female university attendee stared in to thin air apprehensively. All of a sudden, she felt a slight tap on her right shoulder. Cheryl looked up at the male figure in awe. The nineteen year old had never seen this man before. Even though he announced he was a teacher in her school, Cheryl felt sceptical about this man. He summoned that he could open the door using the code. Even though she had felt something was warning her she ignored it. The man introduced himself as Mr Brown. The Irish female agreed to the proposal of the opening of the door and Mr Brown looked at her with an evil smirk.
Mr Brown remained outside whilst Cheryl wandered in. As she was lumbering past the reception area, she felt a slight swift breeze behind her, even though there was no vapour to be seen. Cheryl was a fearless lioness, so it didn’t affect her in any way. She felt as if a phantom was following her in extreme silence, she didn’t respond to it but carried on strolling towards her locker to get her textbook. All of a sudden, she was pinched by something or someone, she shrieked silently. This brave figure was not as fearless as she was before. Her heart thumped rapidly. She looked around nervously. She bit her bottom lip as the runny, rich red blood started dipping down. When she approached her locker, she felt a compact, consolidated and impenetrable fist punch her in the stomach area. She bumped her head on the locker, and felt drowsy.
Then she heard a voice, a revengeful voice. Her eyes shot up towards the ceiling and there she pictured Mr Brown leaning towards her. He looked at her with his sky blue beady eyes covered with white and red. He looked at her indignantly and began explaining why he did all this. Why he did this revengeful event? He explained that when Cheryl had first come in to this university she was such a pain because she was always bickering and she condemned to the headmaster that this particular lecturer Mr Daniel was not lecturing or teaching the class, instead he was ditching the class. Guess who I am? He questioned her with amusement and an evil twist. Cheryl’s mind flashbacked and her chest arose, her mouth dropped with bewilderment and there she saw Mr Daniel. Her heart seemed to get stuck in her throat but there was just enough surface area for her to breath. She realised that this wasn’t a lecturer, instead it was an imposer. A previous lecturer. He explained to her, that she incurred him so much loss that he had to stay hungry, homeless for days and he was so antagonized when he received the news that he was fired.
Mr Daniel raised his foot covered with jet black leather towards Cheryl’s stomach once again and pushed it so harsh Cheryl burst out into a flood of tears that spread across the laminate flooring as a wet duvet. This time it was unbearable and Cheryl screamed out for help. At once the caretaker appeared and rang 999 for the ambulance and police, but by the time they appeared Mr Daniel had disappeared. Cheryl was rushed to care whilst the cops looked for evidence. Within a few days Cheryl was fine and because of the CCTV Mr Daniel was spied on, detected and received a life imprisonment.
This nightmare haunts Cheryl till today but the whole of her family migrated to Spain, therefore it isn’t as haunting as it would be in Dublin. But the event can never be erased.
