The year is 2795.

Scientific Discoveries have lead to amazing things such as Renewable Energy, Cures for various diseases, Space travel, Advances in technology, etc.

One of the most recent scientific breakthroughs has been in the field of Oneirology, The study of dreams.

Professor Matthew Siddarius was relatively infamous in the media for locking himself inside of his personal laboratory for a full year.

After the year time limit was up in 2792, the media eagerly flocked to his door to report on whatever rediculous results he produced.

To their surprise, the four words he spoke rocked the entire world.

"All dreams are connected"

Professor Siddarius quickly went to work proving his theory to other scientists.

The result ended with a location called The Collective Dreamscape

"A different plane of existence where the mind 's subconcious is sent to dream"

According to Professor Siddarius, Everyone has been to The Collective Dreamscape

Some more than others, depending on how developed a certain area of their brain is

The Collective Dreamscape, or CD as it has been nicknamed, is ever expanding.

As people dream, they construct new areas from their memories, which are then added to the CD

Nightmares as well.

As it is so vast in comparison to our own world, visiting the same area of the CD is considered rare

That rule also applies to meeting the same people in your dreams

Unless you are a Lucid dreamer. They alone hold superior power over the normal dreamers.

Professor Siddarius recently publicly released the drug capable of strengthening the brain to allow access to the CD

Needless to say, there has also been an alarming increase in sleep inducing drugs.

We now focus on the journal of Lee Covington, who after being pressured by his girlfriend, is about to enter the Collective Dreamscape.
