CHAPTER 65

Kingston walked up to his room and was convinced that he had heard two voices but

dismissed as he walked up the stairs. He passed Tierras room. Solomon was Standing guard and noticed Kingston "What do you want". Kingston was intrigued "Just wondering how our friend is doing". Solomon continued and he hated Kingston considering him to be an idiot and not worth being apart of Ethan's group "She's sleeping".

Xavier looked to his father. Armando hatched a plan knowing his son wasn't safe in the house but could be hidden in the bunker dose to the house. Armando turned to his son and walked to an elevator. Xavier was intrigued "Where we are we going" he asked as the lift descended. Armando looked to his son "Somewhere safe. You can't just go up against a guy like Ethan. I will take you into the bunker. No one goes there except for a few members of the Centauri group. The lift stopped and Armando and Xavier walked onto a waiting air train that piloted itself to the main entrance of the bunker. The train whizzed quickly lapping wind into Xavier's face. Xavier reckoned it was like being on a fairground ride. The train stopped as quickly as it had begun. Armando walked to a steel door typing in a code. The door opened. Xavier walked and noticed his father hadn't joined HIM. Armando handed his son a key "Take this key and walk down this corridor taking a left and a right. Get some rest. We can deal with Ethan in the morning". Xavier didn't protest and watched his father whisk back up the house on the air train. Xavier walked into the bunker following his fathers instructions and walked to the room. In it he found a bunk bed, side table and a metal desk. It was simple but Xavier liked its spartan character. Xavier locked the door behind. Xavier knew he was nervous and could feel his heart beating. He rested his soon on the bed. It was hard and there were no pillows on!y a mattress. Xavier put his head and wondered how he was going to get his father and Tierra and bring down the Centauri group. Xavier fumbled around before turning off the

light switch.

Armando got to the top of the elevator. As he got out Kingston was there and wished that he wasn't. Armando could see Kingston was angry. Kingston walked up to him "I've just had a chat with Ethan. I'm to be assigned to work on the Bering Strait maps tomorrow. Apparently someone said l didn't know what l was doing. Armando held back. Kingston continued "You know damn well that understand your work you Just want all the credit and glory to yourself. Armando said nothing as Kingston stormed off. Armando was glad to see the back of him and he made a better detective than a scientist. Armando walked to Tierras room. Solomon was no longer around and reckoned he was asleep. Armando knocked on the door. Tierra shouted for the person to enter. Armando entered. Tierra wasn't pleased to see him and hated him and blamed for the loss of her father. Tierra looked away trying to not feel disgusted at the sight of him "What do you want". she said. Armando knew Tierra wasn't in the best of moods "Xavier's here but don't tell anyone". Tierra turned to face Armando. She studied wondering whether this was a sick joke or the truth. Tierra looked into Armando's eyes "Are you sure. You not having me on like before". Armando felt Tierras anger and held her hand. She didn't flinch. Armando continued "He's alive in the bunker dose by but don't tell no one. We're going to take down Ethan soon. l can't unbind your hands but by this time tomorrow you should be free. l don't how l am going to do it but you will be free". Tierra didn't quite understand what Armando was trying to say and said nothing as Armando left, Tierra let herself a smile and rested her head. She felt hope and it was a good feeling.
