The darker side
CH. 1
It’s been one month since the whole mini war with Cam and his pack happened and some things have changed. Sage and Alex are of course still together and happy, Simon and Christian now in an open relationship, and Josh seems to taken a liking to Cassandra. Maggie and Beatrice came back a few days after it was done to make sure that everything was fine.
“I just can’t get what Cam said out of my head, I have a brother and there is still danger, my brother is suppose to be dangerous?” Sage said cuddling with Alex while they watch TV.
“Sage, don’t worry about it until he comes” Alex said sleepy
The pack was out late last night talking what is left of Cam’s pack, they decided to join in Marcus’s but they said it will take time to fully understand being nicer and only bad when danger hits, which Marcus understands.
“Alex you need rest”
“I’m good” he said barely in a whisper, not a minute later did she hear soft snoring coming from him.
Smiling she got up and walked quietly to the kitchen, to get some orange juice.
“Hello” Simon said coming in from outside
“Hey, what were you doing out there?” she asked pulling some juice into a glass and taken a sip
He shrugged, “Christian wanted to show me this place he found”
She smiled, “Really? What did it look like?”
“This shed type thing, it looks like someone is staying there really it has a sleeping back thing and pots and stuff like that”
“Oh, so what else you to do?” she asked smiling
He grimaced, “Nothing of your concern” and with that he walked upstairs
She was laughing softly to herself when a letter came through the open window addressed to her.
She looked out the window but only saw darkness, shakily she bent and picked the letter up, unfolding it she read in black ink
Sage,
I know what you did, and the penalty for it is your head on a stick.
Meet me tomorrow night in the cemetery, come alone.
There wasn’t a name on it.
