Shadows of the Dark

Its in the air I breathe

Five demons won’t let me be

The Shadows of the Dark

I believe

Interrupt my thoughts

Control my desires

In the midst of the night

Its burning fire

Wake me up soon

For it makes me feel pain

Burns on my neck

Scratches on my back

No loved ones will ever make me sane

The light reflects

The way its meant to be

It’s the Shadows of the Dark

I believe

I liked it. The words flow and I can hear the musical influence. My only suggestion is perhaps use a few more descriptive words replacing light and dark, might make it more interesting.
Good job keep writing it is a good community to share your work.
