I was originally going to submit this to the Reader's Digest 100 Word Story Competition, but submitted something else instead. I really like this one though.

"Alright. Just jump in and it'll all be over. Everything." Bracing herself, she took a deep breath, and jumped into the icy water below. The minute she plunged in, her mind cleared. Gasping for air, she tried to swim to the surface - but she didn't know how. Eventually her head bobbed out of the water. "Help! Help!" But no one could hear her. She was all alone. Her arms and legs flailed, trying to stay afloat, but she was no match against the strong sea waves. Slowly she sank, deeper and deeper into the darkness. "I... Don't... Want... To... Die..."
