I am looking down the scope of darkness, knowing that this marvel of technology is about to change the world.

All emotions are put aside and impulse takes over. My sights follow his head. I see a clear shot and fire, the bullet penetrating his skull. Blood splatters the surrounding civilians, slow motion grasps hold. The world returns to normal again. My target is on the ground.

I dismantle my weapon and return it to its briefcase. I walk briskly now, heading for the main entrance of the building. I stop. I see a familiar face and a silencer. Then blackness.
