Prolouge

The road was dark and wet with rain, it's blackness blending with the sea of night. The rain splashes on my cold wet body, and I shiver vilontley. The only sound I hear is the raind and my wet boots on the concrete. Then I hear a rumbling sound thinking maybe it was a train. It was hard to see with my black hair plastered onto my face. Then just when I think its gone I get hit in the face by a set of ultra-bright L.e.d. headlights. Then the car connects to my stomach and theres the sound of my rib bones breaking. The impact sends me flying through the air and I cry in agony from the tremendous amout of pain. All I want to do is cry and scream, I try but nothing comes out. My body gose limp and a little bit colder. And the thing inside me that people called my rotten soul, was tossed into the abyss.

Chapter 1

*2 days earlier*

"Why did you do it mom?", anger filled me.

"Will listen, I no your mad but-''

"but what," you think I don't deserve my own privacy and connection with my friends, that dad has'nt scared off?!" my mother had stolen my phone from my room in the middle of the night.

"yes I do but you have to understand that it was your fathers idea. That's what ive been trying to tell you."

"look can I have my phone back?"

"Yes, here it is." She produced my phone From her back pocket.

"weres dad?"

"He's in his study upstairs."

I started up the stairs and picked up my skateboard along the way.

"what are you doing with that?"

"planning."

Chapter two

when i reached the top of the stairs, i could hear my dad on his cell phone. I walked into his study, his back was turned to me. My black hair swung in my face . my mother had always hated it, but my dad said he was glad i had it that way. He said he didn't always want to see my devilish eyes. my ghost white skin comes out more with my black hair and that makes me more noticeable. And thats not what i want. the less people knew about me the better off i was. I snuck up behind my dad as quietly as i could. When i was close enough, i snatched the phone out of his hand and shut it.

"What do you think you're doing?"

"so you don't think i deserve to have a phone ,huh?"

"Why the-, how the heck did you know that?"

"I have my sources."i turned and started to walk away when he said,

"Aren't you forgetting something?"

"No, why would you say that?"

"Why you little bast-"

And in that moment i was bolting down the stairs, listening to my dad clomp down right behind me. He was a trained bicyclist and he always kept his bike chained in the front yard. i know how fast he was on a bike because i used to go on cycling trips with him.

"Come back here." he yelled

I busted out the front door and jumped on my skateboard once i reached the street. i was an excellent skateboarder. when i was on a board it was like watching the space shuttle go into space for the very first time. by the time i had gotten to the road my dad was already on his bike. iI kept going faster and faster because our house was on a large hill. When i reached the huge curve at the bottom of the hill i turned to see how far he was behind me. he was at least 20 yards away. then just when i thought i was in the clear , a skateboarders worst dream came in front of me. A large rock came up to me so fast i didn't have time to swerve and miss it. the rock stopped my wheel dead in its tracks and i flew forward and hit the ground with a meaty smack. What made it worse is that my dad was coming up too fast and couldnt brake. his bicycle-that weighed at least 10 pounds plus his weight-went right over my ribs and there was a crunch like noise. i screamed in agony and cried out with pain. My dad ran up beside me and just stood over me with no intention of helping. He bent over and i thought maybe he did have a heart, until he pulled his phone out of my jacket pocket and says, "i'll be taking this" and turned to walk away, leaving me with my painful thoughts.
