A hunter plans a hunting trip with his three friends. One of them suggests it is a bad idea to go hunting because it is going to be very cold and foggy in the morning. The other one informs him that recently killing animals have been banned in the area and he might get in trouble if he kills any animals. The third one says he could have joined but is not feeling well. The main hunter listens to all appeals but still keeps his plan intact. He decides to go hunting all by himself.
The next morning he leaves for hunting in a wooded area far from his residence. He carries all the necessary hunting items with him including a rifle. He makes sure the rifle is loaded with at least one bullet before he left home because he does not want to waste anytime when he arrives at the hunting point. He also carries a map to get there but soon finds himself a little lost in the woods. He tries to find his way out of the area but does not succeed and keeps driving.
After driving for miles and miles he realizes that he is now is in a complete different town altogether. Since he has completely lost his way back, he decides to stay in a hotel overnight and leave for home in the morning. He luckily finds a small motel which he does not like but still decides to stay there hesitantly. He convinces himself that it is only a matter of one night. He parks his car at the reservation desk and goes inside to inquire if there is a room available.
The front desk agent tells him the rate and that there is only ground rooms available. He agrees on all the requirements and occupies the room. On his way to the room, the agent glances at hunter’s rifle and asks him to show the rifles license. The hunter puts the rifle on the counter facing the agent. As the hunter’s looks for his license, the agent puts his hand on the rifle. He asks if the rifle is loaded or empty. The hunter says it is empty. He completely forgets about the one bullet he inserted. The agent picks the rifle and points at the wall very confidently knowing it is empty.
As the agent aims at the items on the wall, his finger naturally touches the trigger. He sees someone coming toward the counter and by mistake pulls the trigger. A shot is fired and a man is hit. The agent drops the gun and runs in the lobby to see if the customer is fine. The hunter runs behind him. They both realize the customer is dead and look at each other in confusion. Who do you think is responsible for this? The Hunter, the agent, or the Rifle?
