Poetry for me is a passion, not just a hobby, and I think that the ability to leave something behind us after our day is one of the best things in life, and the ability for someone to read the words I have written, and to be moved, to anger, to action, to tears, brings a connection that can only be got between one person and another via the written word.
I write on many topics, from human rights of the self determination of the Celtic peoples, to the mere survival and acceptance of groups such as the First Nations of America, and Europes Romani people. And also a little on life, death, current affairs, history, ghost stories, legends and whatever else takes my fancy at the time.
My inspirations and heros in the writing sphere are the three Roberts: Service, Frost and Burns, and of late I have come in contact with the writings of Sir John Bjetemann.
