Cockney Rhythm!

London is a circus of accents.
It brings academics to homeless,
Londoners live on the Edge -
where
they would have it no other way.
High rises inconsistently tower -
bridges link over water -
loo
ting even threatens.
Many a mile does not end
Home to all - Butcher, Banker, Baker -
Streets never sleep.

Liverpool street, Oxford circus, Notting Hill Gate, Dalston junction, Old street, North Acton.

Sirens racing ring more than Big B
Red buses, Black Taxis, Blue bikes - no one stops at amber,
Pedestrians pass on escalators going underground,
To Londoners - their world is their Oyster.

Visiting Parliament is for the Eye to behold.
Steeped in history: the influential rest - Great saints, Royalty, Warriors unknown.
Home to Englands number 10 - a story Down every Street.
No fire or bomb brings it to ruin, Palaces, Abbies and mindsstand strong.

London is a Circus.
