Standing Alone
The moment when everyone is gone,
You are left defenseless with no protection,
Standing alone
When you begin to imagine what could happen,
A stranger coming up to ask you a question,
Standing alone
Hoping your family finds you soon,
Not knowing how or what to do,
Standing alone
Seeing your moms face after ten minutes of torture,
Realizing how much you appreciate and love her,
No longer standing alone
