Wonderous Creatures

Turtles And Tortoises,
Everywhere I See,
Splashing And Swimming,
Suddenly Snapping At Me.
The Air Is As Foggy,
As The Clouds In The Sky,
Blocking Out My Sight,
As Tortoises Pass Me By.
Turtles Are Everywhere,
Riding the creeks steady flow,
Scolding at me up above,
and eating algae down below.
Slowly and quietly,
One by one,
Heads of all sizes,
came up from the pond.
However, some quickly disappeared,
when they saw me quite close,
down into the murky waters,
and came up to nip at my toes.
night crept up on me,
like the shadows from behind,
the pond starts to dance,
as turtles and tortoises ,
start to unwind.
oh i love this pond,
how peaceful and serine it is to me,
i love all its glorious life,
and all the wondrous creatures i might see.
