I am but 1 man, 1 mind, with 2 hands, and 2 legs. And I was borne upon this earth with the same life as everyone else. Yet with these two hands I’ve molded a reality that only I hold in my hands. Yet no matter what I always look towards others who have more than me. That my friend is greed, we all want to be the best and the greatest. But when you end up at the very top, what is the purpose of it all, why do we reach for the tallest tower, only to realize it’s all too lonely… while were encapsulated by the darkness over the great cloudy sky there is only the rain to share the gold with. The rain pours down over your face, hair wet, clothes damp with accomplishment. Yet the rain never stops and the burden of always being the best remains. The foundation we laid our lives upon was something we once found to be great, but in the end it was vanity. Living doesn’t mean you strive to be the best. Living means to appreciate what you have in that very moment where you stand. Until you understand what it means to live; you will forever let the accomplishment pour down without ever understanding what that accomplishment meant.
