How I feel about my childhood, my teen hood, and my future adulthood.

In the early days of childhood,

Memories are cloudy and distant.

Dresses and child's play fill my head,

Too foolish to have been existant.

Bows and pigtails were cuute

Back when things where simple.

Hopscotch, jumprope, and musical chairs,

Small, rosy cheeks and dimples.

But all those things are past,

As is two minutes ago.

Dresses and small child's play

Now are starting to slow.

Teen Years

Now that childhood is gone,

I seem to go crazy.

Middle School and new looks,

Have me seeming lazy.

Chores don't seem to get done,

My room smells like a zoo.

Boy craziness starts to show,

Those these years are still anew.

I need to pull together

My pride and dignity.

I am not yet 13,

I only show indiginity.

That's it for Now

As you know, I'm still young

And the Breath of God

Enters me as I wake,

Pushing out signs of facade.

My soul is new,

My heart is lifted.

Just wait till adulthood,

I shall be gifted.
