The Dark.
I find myself, alone.
I find myself beaten, my arms screaming in pain.
I find myself lost, cold.
I’m in the dark.
The dark, it’s everywhere.
It’s all around me.
It screams at me.
It hits me.
It’s killing me
On the floor I lay, frozen in pain.
I’m held by the dark.
I want to break the dark, but I can’t.
The dark is breaking me.
The dark is my ruler.
Shadows are everywhere,
They are the shadows of defeat.
At last, they are finally defeating me.
I will try and fight,
But the thought of winning, is gone.
Please, rescue me from the dark.
Set me free,
Don’t let me die.
