I look over the side
Dark waters swell
I think of my family

My mother
caring, laughing, loving

My brothers
goofy, intelligent, creative

My stepdad
concerned, truthful, family

I've done this to myself
I should step away
The rocks crumble and i start to fall
I grasp for a hold but feel myself falling
I stop
I'm dangling
I look up and see them
Holding me to take me away
I hold on with my whole heart
They will never let me go
