One Day Too Late

Listing all my mistakes;

Looking back to the heart aches;

My lies,

In despair, I close my blue eyes.

When thinking starts to lack,

The thoughts of way back

start to reveal themselves to me,

and no longer in fear shall I flee.

The memories quickly fly by,

And I,

Stand up and face my fears,

All resulting in satisfaction and warm tears.

Today, I am going to be stronger,

Gonna make each moment last longer.

Today, I will do no wrong, Tell no lies,

Have no hatred, no despise.

Knowing this was almost my eternal fate;

Knowing I'm not one day too late.
