Why rain falls down and not up

Why does the rain fall down and not up?

How many ounces are in a cup?

Why are ants so small?

Why are giraffes so tall?

Why, why, why mother nature?

Why are there so many different creatures?

Why did all the dinosaurs die off?

Why can't dogs sleep upside down like sloths?

Tell me why and I will leave you along,

If you don't tell me I will stay frozen like a stone.

My, oh my, little one, you have so much to ask.

Listen closely as I tell you and complete my task,

Dogs, they like to cuddle up to you,

So they cannot sleep like sloths if that's what they like to do.

The dinosaurs did not die off you see,

The simply went on vacation to a different galaxy.

There are so many different creatures because I said so.

You ask why, and this is one answer I do not know.

Giraffes are so tall so they can reach leaves in the trees.

Ants are so small so they can hide from killer bees.

There is, my dear, eight ounces in a cup.

Now how about YOU tell ME why rain falls down and not up!
