What does it say...?

Poetry By: Sammy Wang Yang
True confessions

A look into emotions. Anger, depression, confusion. What does it say, when you take a step back and view yourself as a third person. What did you achieved?

What does it say? When the people you Love abandons you?

What does it say? When no one wants to be with you?

What does it say, when you were the Life of the Party - Every time you converse, you Light up their smile and brighten their eyes - with your graceful charms and dashing smile.

What did they say, when you offer your shoulders to cry on - whispering soothing words and encouraging thoughts.

What does it say, when they've looked up to you in trouble times - Thanking you with tearful gratitude, honoring with their Love and respect. For all the times you were there.

What does it say then, when suddenly, all that you've achieved - All the respect and gratitude, When all you have left for - Washes away into nothingness.

What does that say, when your respect dwindle away - Like the snow melting in the sun, Like the rain drying away

What does it say, when your admiration fades away? From a cause you know no reason to?

What does that tells you, When all the people you've supported - Turns away from you. When you needed them for comfort, And a shoulder to cry on? What does that say of you?

What had happened? You were the Joy of Happiness - The bringer of no worries, The Life of the Party - Now when you stepped into the Gathering, your the Sour of the Mood?

Why is it? That you've given all of yourself - All the Joy and Comfort, for them to be Happy - When you've run out of Joy, you needed to refuel. There is no one to comfort you - No shoulders to cry on. No one to lend a helping hand - And brush away the sadness?

Where are you Now? But Alone in a world that left you behind. - In the utter pit of Loneliness, With no one to lend a hand. - Where is Everyone Now?

What does that say?
