Thank You Booksie Members

Hey Booksie fans,

First off I'm going to tell you my story behind this site for me. Well before I used to be an avid www.poetry.com user where I used the same name on there as here, but I got in trouble for printing out my poetry from poetry.com because they were all of hate so my mother took down my hate poetry, and I had a friend from school tell me about booksie for me to write my poetry. Yes it's only been a year but it's been the biggest year for my poetry. I may not appeal to everyone but I attempt to.

Dear Booksie fans and supporters,

I would like to thank you all for the support. This year has been very long (since Oct.12, 2010). But you all don't get mad at me if I don't put up a poem everyday. You leave the most appreciative comments I could ever ask for. I remember when I first put up my poetry I thought "okay I won't get many comments on my poetry" even on my hardest works or "okay I won't get many reads". But to this day I have 1,110 reads (on poetry.com 105) and I have 112 comments (on poetry.com 12). So I'm so thankful that you have supported me and my soon to be career. I will always post on here even when I'm in college. But I have had a blast working on booksie. I have never gotten so much respect from people about my poetry. Most of the time I'm called "gay" or a "queer" because I choose to write my own poetry about heart break. But you haven't. So thank you very much.
