I am a retired Health Information Management Professional.   I live in Nova Scotia Canada with my husband, two daughters, one dog and one cat.  This is my first attempt at writing.

I have always wanted to write for young people.  I hope whoever reads this enjoys it

I sumitted "The Pink Ribbons" to our local newspaper last month.  It received an honorable mention.  I would very much like to have some comments from writers on what I might do to improve this piece.  I personally am proud of this first attempt, but know I have a very long way to go before feeling comfortable calling myself a writer
