She began writing short stories and poetry when she was 5 years old. She always had a wild imagination which she not only put into writing but also acted out and performed. Victoria continued writing until her late teens, but struggled to persevere and believe in herself now that she was being benchmarked by government standards and given marks for her creative work. She felt the growth of her imagination was stunted by GCSE English, being told she could not differ in her interpretation of literature to the teacher's. Since then, she's been sucked through the pipeline of work and studies without pausing to gather and reassemble her artistic toolbox. But here she is, with new observations, new experiences, and above all, a hunger to write and share. She hopes that you'll take as much enjoyment from reading her work as she will get from writing it.
