Vinod Sailes is 62 (21.11.1949), a Roman Catholic, hailing from Kerala (a state known as “God’s own country” or “Paradise” (famous for cultivation of spices). Kerala is situated on the southern-most tip of India. This small state stands tall for its literacy amongst the rest of the nation, spread out in 28 states and 7 union territories. St. Thomas the Apostle of Jesus Christ who came to India by sea route from Persia (Parthia) set foot in Kerala during 52 A.D. and had practically a half of Kerala converted to Christianity, among whom figured our forefathers as well. St Thomas was put to death by pagans and infidels at a place today known as St Thomas’ Mount in 72 AD. Was educated by the Salesians of Don Bosco at Bandel Church, Hooghly P.O., West Bengal, India. Settled in New Delhi, own home. A golden Wife in the person of Mrs. Usha Kiran gives company in life. Usha is a pious, dedicated, God-fearing, soft-spoken female who has stood by me through thick and thin.
